Kristi has been a vital part of the Anez team since 2017, serving as an Agronomy and Conservation Consultant. She firmly believes that farming is not a “one size fits all” endeavor; context is paramount. Kristi excels in helping clients delve deeply into soil fertility, ensuring they make the best decisions for their operation. Additionally, she provides expertise in feedlot permitting and conservation programs, skillfully navigating the intricate rules and regulations of government-managed initiatives.
“After a full day of working on reports, it sometimes feels as though my brain has turned to mush. However, connecting with my clients and knowing that my work has lightened their load makes me feel good about the work I’ve done,” Kristi shares.
In her role, Kristi has also gained knowledge in engineering, management of manure and industrial byproducts, and has achieved certification as a licensed drone pilot. Growing up on a hog and crop farm near Truman, MN, she only scratched the surface of what it means to be a farmer. “Working at Anez has opened my eyes to the complexities of agriculture and makes me proud to be a part of the farming community,” she says.
Community is very important to Kristi. When she’s not working, you can find her contributing to her husband’s family dairy, volunteering at The Barn Theater, or singing at Svea Lutheran Church.
